The Voice Advisory System (VAS) provides announcements about flight situations such as stall, altitude, etc. We are currently in the process of issuing STC on a Mooney M20J. The VAS will be FAA PC (PMA) after FAA STC. Several options will exist such as interfacing with a TAS-1000 for altitude announcements, a GNS-530 for heading announcements and so on. Our load simulator was designed to simulate an adjustable complex load, as required by Federal Aviation Administration Policy Memorandum, In-Seat Power Supply Systems.Easy-to-use controls provide the user with the capability to adjust the power of the load by simply turning the control knob. The variables of the applied load are displayed on the screen in watts, amps. The load simulator also provides, on the display screen, the measured line voltage and frequency. These functions are accomplished using a 20 MHZ computer processor. This unit also features a GFI test, which will allow the customer to check for the airplane’s ground fault protection system. To ensure quality and accuracy, all of our units are put through a testing, and calibration process.
