Most of the time the customer would use several vendors to accomplish a modification program. And most of the time there a two or more certification vendors on the project.
Delta offers a service to provide a one stop shop to provide certification for the entire program. This consist of Delta working with the airline and the various vendors to accomplish the certification both FAA and foreign approvals such as EASA. Some of the benefits to this service are:
1. Inspections conducted by one inspector during installation
2. One EMI/RFI test
3. One Interior Compliance (if required)
4. One standard process for flow of data and required data/tests
5. Use of DAS/ODA to speed up the certification process
6. Delta can appoint qualified DER’s from the vendors (several already exists) to be part of our DAS/ODA roster
